- June 2002 - Cottier Theatre: World premier of "I'r Wyddel (To an Irishman)", specially composed for DCB by Terry Johns, with Mark O'Keefe (trumpet).
- May 2002 - Guest band at NFMS Inverness Conference.
- Fort William "Spring Fling" - April 1999 - a weekend away rehearsing with the Lochaber Community Wind Band, followed by a concert at the Marco's an Aird Leisure Centre. Guest conductor: David Wilson, Royal Marines, Rosyth.
- Summer Concert - June 1999 - St. John's Renfield Church (part of the West End Festival).
- Music for a Spring Evening - St. Serf's Parish Church, Leith.
- First performances of "Dunbartonshire" - a piece composed especially for the Band by Arthur Main (1999).
- Music in the "Triangular Garden" - a community walled-garden project in the west end of Glasgow.
- Annual concert to disabled servicemen at Erskine Hospital.
- "Alive & Kicking!" - Red Road flats outreach programme.
- Open air concerts at the new bandstand - Mugdock Country Park.
- March 2001: Winners of Open Band Section and Southside Brass Trophy, Glasgow Music Festival
- 2nd. Fort William "Spring Fling" - April 2001 - a weekend rehearsal/concert with the Lochaber Community Wind Band. Guest conductor: Richard Jones (Richmond School). First UK performance of "Vesuvius", by Frank Ticheli.
